      Linear measurements and regression analysis of the pons and cerebellum based on MRI

      Objective:To measure the set lines of pons and cerebellum of Chinese adults of Han nationality by MRI and VG Studio MAX 2.2 software,analyze its relationship with sex,age,height and weight,and construct the relative linear regression equations.Methods:The three-dimensional reconstruction of MRI data was built by VG Studio MAX 2.2 software.And then,the set lines of pons and cerebellum were measured with the measuring tool,and were analyzed with SPSS 20.0 software.Results:The mean values of line A(pontine maximum transverse diameter line),B(transverse cerebellar diameter),and C(cerebellar height diameter line) were 23.78 ±2.58,37.04 ± 5.86,50.27 ± 4.91 in males and 22.83 ± 2.06,36.01 ±5.38,47.79±5.06 in females respectively.Conclusion;There were significant differences between males and females in the average value of line A and C.And the weight and age were statistically correlated with line A in females.
